The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Clear a criminal background check.
High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)
Skills/Abilities:

Ability to facilitate progressive change, getting along with other employees, following directions and continually improving.
Clear and effective oral and written communications skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers. Education & Age
  • High School Diploma or GED(or equivalent)

  • Minimum age:21 years
Experience
  • Minimum 2 yearsin the security industry, with1 year in a supervisory role (preferred)

  • Experience inloss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, and access control systemsis required
  • Must be willing to perform the duties of aSecurity Officerin addition to supervisory responsibilities
Licenses & Certifications
  • State Guard Licenserequired

  • Must meet and maintain all applicablestate, county, and municipal licensing requirementsfor security officers
  • CPR and First Aid certificationis a plus
