What You’ll Do
  • Prospect and acquire new parts and service customers within an assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Conduct sales calls and site visits to better understand customer operations, challenges, and opportunities
  • Promote parts and service solutions that support customer uptime and performance
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline and territory growth strategy
  • Prepare quotes, present pricing, negotiate effectively, and close business while maintaining margin targets
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Partner closely with parts, service, and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and seamless customer support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions, concerns, and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline updates, customer records, and sales forecasts
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, KPIs, and activity targets
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and territory progress
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities
  • Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer events
  • Identify customer pain points and recommend solutions that improve service, responsiveness, and overall customer experience
  • Escalate urgent customer issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and follow-through
What We’re Looking For
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer visits
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize effectively
  • Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile sales tools
Preferred:
  • Outside or field sales experience, preferably in parts, automotive, fleet, heavy duty, construction equipment, or related industries
  • Experience selling truck, trailer, diesel, construction, or fleet-related parts and service solutions
  • Knowledge of dealership, service, or fleet operations
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and translate them into solutions that drive value
