Job description

Dixie Plywood & Lumber Company has announced that they are actively recruiting to fill an Outside Sales Representative position. 

An ideal candidate for this position is someone who possesses a background and proven sales experience in the industry, from an industrial perspective. Someone who possesses a background and proven sales experience in the market; as well as product knowledge in hardwood plywood, composite, and decorative panels as well as industrial specialty products, Purchasing experience is desirable but not mandatory.

A strong emphasis will be placed on communication skills, self-motivation, and self-discipline.

The individual placed in this position will be expected to represent the company in a professional manner, while providing our customers the utmost in customer service. 

Candidates should also possess an aptitude for computer applications.  Additionally, knowledge and familiarity of the market and/or our primary products would be helpful.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their experience, product knowledge, prior accomplishments, and a strong desire to make the our Company location a leader in their market.  Compensation will be commensurate with the expectations of the position, as well as the experience of the selected candidate
