Position Title: Marketing & Community Outreach Representative

Department: Bimba's Famiglia Biscotti & Nuts (Golden R, Inc.)

Reports To: Jacque Ratto, Director of Administrative Services & Outreach

Start Date: On or before May 4, 2025

Employment Type: Part-Time, Commission and W-2 Employee

Job Summary

The Marketing & Community Outreach Representative will serve as the face of the brand in the community, engaging with customers at farmers' markets, pop-up events, and through local business outreach. This role focuses on relationship building, on-site sales, and helping expand Bimba's Famiglia's presence in the region. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and excited about sharing the story and products of a family-run business rooted in tradition and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the brand at weekly farmers' markets and community events
  • Set up and tear down the booth, manage inventory and sales
  • Engage customers and communicate the Bimba's Famiglia story with warmth and clarity
  • Support product packaging, merchandising, and display setup
  • Build and maintain relationships with local retail and café partners
  • Assist in developing outreach collateral and supporting community-based promotional efforts

Compensation & Perks

  • $60 stipend for each farmers' market event attended
  • 10% commission on direct sales made at events and markets
  • $100 bonus for every confirmed wholesale or retail account secured
  • 5% residual commission on reorders from secured accounts for the first three months
  • Company vehicle provided for all work-related transportation (valid license and clean DMV record required)
  • Coverage under Workers' Compensation Insurance


Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Additional Notes

This position is contingent upon a successful assessment, background check, and DMV clearance. It is an at-will position subject to periodic performance review. The first 90 days of employment will include a Strategic Start program designed to provide comprehensive training and support.
