Job description

We are seeking a Recovery Outreach Coordinator to join our team of professionals at Master Center for Addiction Medicine who are providing outpatient treatment to persons with substance use disorders as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team. This position would cover the entirety of the Hampton Roads Market, and would be subject to change as organizational needs arise.
Master Center for Addiction Medicine is a private, outpatient addiction medicine treatment center based in Richmond, Virginia, and we have expanded to the Hampton Roads Market. Our approach to addiction is comprehensive, evidence-based and individualized drawing on every tool that has been proven effective: medical treatment, education, psychiatry, professional counseling, testing/monitoring and peer support services. Our aim is not just to treat patients but to heal them - by helping each one find his or her way to lifelong recovery.

The Recovery Outreach Coordinator is responsible for creating 2-way referral relationships with community resources in the region, such as therapists, sober living, hospitals, medical providers, and any others that need to refer for Substance Use Disorder treatment. The Recovery Outreach Coordinator will work with the business development team to develop referral pathways and collaborative relationships with referral partners. The Recovery Outreach Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with other departments within Master Center as needed.
Recovery Outreach Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain referral relationships with therapists, sober living organizations, hospitals, medical providers, and any others that need to refer for SUD treatment.
  • Schedule and conduct presentations with prospective and current partners on Master Center model of care and services.
  • Serve as primary contact for referrals in the Hampton roads area, coordinate with various departments within Master Center as needed.
  • Document referral partner outreach in Salesforce, coordinatewith marketing on mail chimp campaigns, and other outreach efforts.
  • Recommend marketing and outreach events or initiatives in the Hampton Roads Market.
  • Assist the Director of Client Development in the creation of and execution of weekly, monthly and/or quarterly marketing events and collaborations.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of all Master Center programs to communicate accurately and effectively with referral resources.
  • Educate and inform referral resources on Master Center programs, especially as new programs develop.
  • Establish an effective referral pathway for referral partners under the direction of the Director of Client Development.
  • Issue resolution. Actively seek issues between community partners and Master Center, and report findings to Director of Client Development to brainstorm solutions.

Daily Tasks
  • Establish and maintain referral relationships with therapists, sober living organizations, hospitals, medical providers and others that need to refer for SUD treatment.
  • Schedule and execute presentations with external partners.
  • Serve as primary contact for referral partners and complete issue resolution as needed in the Hampton Roads area.
  • Document and track phone calls, texts and emails in Salesforce on a daily basis.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Weekly Tasks
  • Document referral partner outreach in Salesforce, coordinate with the Director of Client Development and Director of Digital Marketing on Mail Chimp campaigns and other outreach efforts.
  • Maintain detailed understanding of all Master Center programs in order to communicate accurately and effectively with referral resources.
  • Submit weekly goals report and meet weekly with the Director of Client Development.

Special Projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma required. Two-year degree and clinical experience preferred.
  • 1-4 years management or business development experience.

This position is Monday through Friday 830AM to 5PM. Some weekend and evening hours may be required for business development tasks.
