Job Description

Brief Description of the Position

The Outreach Specialist will provide Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Arizona Education Learning and Accountability System (AELAS) products and services to internal and external stakeholders with enthusiasm, competence, and fidelity.


Generate lead qualification

Gather information from LEA leads (prospective customers)

Conduct and / or coordinate product demonstrations and webinars

Update lead generations / qualifications in Customer Relationship Management system

Generate quotes using the CRM system

Transition committed LEA to Implementation Account Manager

Collaborate with the Outreach Manager to plan roadshow events, town hall, conferences, etc.

Under the direction of the Outreach Manager, present material at roadshow events, town hall, conferences, etc.

Under the direction of the Outreach Manager, collaborate with IT Communications team to create collateral, communication, websites, etc.

Under the direction of the Outreach Manager, attend product specific meetings with vendors and internal personnel to establish product demos, collateral, etc.

Attend product trainings as needed

Attend weekly team meetings as needed


Qualifications

B.A. or B.S., Masters in Education or Instructional Technology preferred

5+ years' experience in education field

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Handle multiple projects simultaneously and use good judgment in prioritizing work assignments

Use of accepted principles and practices of composing and editing informational material

Build effective working relationships with other ADE divisions to complement outreach programs of various departments

Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions

Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment

Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs

Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of stakeholders ranging from entry level to senior leadership

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly

Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience in the education industry preferred
