This position is based onsite at our hospital facility, providing a vibrant and collaborative work environment. As part of our team, you will engage daily with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, all dedicated to a shared vision of excellence in patient care. You will work from Monday to Friday, with a typical schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address individual pain management needs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic skills to assist in delivering appropriate interventions, providing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain relief strategies.
• Collaborate with case management teams to facilitate seamless discharge planning and continuity of care for patients transitioning from hospital to home.
• Serve as a consulting provider when accepting referrals from other physicians and manage cases requiring hospitalization, ensuring that all patient-specific needs are met.
• Maintain precise and compliant documentation for all patient interactions, treatment plans, and relevant insurance requirements, ensuring timely resolution of any claims denials.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, contributing to the enhancement of departmental services and patient care through innovative solutions.

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population suffering from various types of acute and chronic pain. This includes individuals needing interventions for musculoskeletal issues, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical recovery. Your efforts will directly affect their ability to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.
• An active Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, preferably in pain management or a related healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and data management.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills, essential for effective patient interaction and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
• A strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset, committed to achieving excellence in a performance-driven healthcare environment.

• Prior experience in managing pain-related cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Knowledge of advanced pain management techniques, including physical therapy interventions, injections, and alternative therapies.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary approaches and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
