Director of Product Management - Agentic AI Platform & Security
Location: Foster City, California (Min 3 days mandatory in office)
Organization: Product GTM & SME
Reports To: VP of Product Management
The Position
We are seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead our high-growth Agentic AI product portfolio, which serves as the core intelligence layer for our AI-native Risk Operations Center (ROC). This leader will have complete 360โdegree ownership of our conversational interfaces, autonomous risk agents, and decentralized agent ecosystem, spanning both inbound and outbound product management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate must have experience leading highโperforming product teams and scaling advanced multiโagent architectures at enterprise grade. You are expected to be a subject matter expert in agentic workflows, multiโagent coordination, and large language models (LLMs), with a deep understanding of how to apply these technologies to enterprise cyber risk.
Working crossโfunctionally with Engineering, Data Science, AI, Design, and GoโToโMarket teams, you will deliver the categoryโdefining platform that enables enterprises to interact with, compose, and deploy autonomous security workflows at scale.
What You Will Be Doing 1. Product Portfolio Ownership
- ROCky: Our central conversational chat assistant and primary intelligent interface for the enterprise ROC.
- Autonomous Risk Agents: Our existing outโofโtheโbox cyber risk workforce (including Agent Val, Agent Sara, and Agent Nova).
- Agent Studio & Marketplace: Our platform environments allowing customers to compose custom agents and tap into a broader ecosystem.
2. Business Ownership and Responsibilities
- Grow the Business: Act as the ultimate 'Business Owner' of the Agentic AI product portfolio. Constantly evaluate how to drive revenue, justify every agent feature prioritized, and optimize crossโagent synergies.
- Business Analysis: Run regular data analysis of the agent portfolio's revenue, tracking core metrics like crossโsell, upโsell, expansion, and renewal. Build dataโdriven plans to improve these metrics for executive leadership.
- Pricing and Packaging: Evaluate monetization models for autonomous agents, including consumptionโbased pricing, premium agent tiers, and marketplace monetization models to drive customer adoption.
- ProductโLed Growth (PLG): Architect innovative PLG and ProductโLed Sales (PLS) motions specific to AI software. Design digital discovery and sandbox experiences that let users build trial agents in Agent Studio and seamlessly convert to paid tiers.
3. Outbound Product Management Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement & Positioning: Develop strategic sales enablement collateral, target messaging, and product positioning. Train the global sales team on how to deliver valueโbased demonstrations of autonomous agents and multiโagent systems.
- Competitive Intelligence: Research the rapidly evolving agentic AI and security landscape. Determine how legacy platforms are positioned and develop offensive strategies demonstrating our unique agentic advantages.
- Customer Relationships: Maintain deep relationships with enterprise CISOs and security practitioners to gather continuous feedback, understand operational friction, and translate insights into hard product requirements.
4. Inbound Product Management Responsibilities
- Autonomous MultiโAgent Orchestration: Define product requirements for multiโagent coordination, agentโtoโagent communication protocols, and dynamic subโagent composition (how agents like Val, Sara, and Nova collaborate to orchestrate risk remediation).
- Explainable AI & Guardrails: Design the framework for how ROCky securely delegates subโtasks to downstream agents while maintaining strict validation checkpoints and transparent, explainable chainโofโthought processing.
- Remediation & Workflow Integration: Partner with downstream product teams (such as Patch and Autonomous RemOps) to ensure our agents can seamlessly hand off execution plans to the platform's underlying remediation fabrics.
What We Need from You
- Proven Track Record: 8+ years of product management experience, or 6+ years of technical leadership/solution architecture experience, with a heavy emphasis on scaling AI/ML products, LLM applications, or autonomous frameworks.
- Advanced AI Architecture Experience: Practical product experience working with multiโagent frameworks, deep understanding of agentic memory layers, and experience solving the realโworld latency, alignment, and cost challenges of complex subโagent coordination loops.
- Security & Automation Acumen: A solid foundational understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, vulnerability management, SOC/ROC dynamics, or workflow automation platforms.
- Platform & Ecosystem Experience: Prior experience building developer platforms, lowโcode/noโcode builders (like Agent Studio), or marketplace dynamics.
- GTM & Business Expertise: Strong dataโdriven decisionโmaking skills balancing technical feasibility with clear business impacts, pricing strategies, and pipeline generation.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence crossโfunctionally and confidently engage with Cโlevel customer executives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math; MBA or equivalent practical experience preferred.
