We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator / Shipping Clerk to support our production, shipping, and supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient receipt, processing, labeling, inventory control, and stocking of materials—as well as preparing, packaging, and coordinating outbound shipments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining warehouse accuracy and supporting the continuous flow of materials to and from production.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure within a manufacturing environment and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to advance your career in operations, shipping, or production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and validate incoming materials and components against purchase orders and Bill of Materials (BOM) specifications to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.

Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials and products according to customer requirements and company standards.

Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outgoing shipments.

Maintain shipping records, generate packing lists, and ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with shipping regulations.

Strategically organize and manage warehouse layout, optimizing storage locations for efficient space utilization and streamlined material flow.

Serve as a point of contact for resolving issues related to material requisitions, inventory discrepancies, back orders, and shipment variances.

Ensure inventory accuracy through real-time updates using ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Coordinate the transfer, stocking, and staging of materials to support production lines, R&D, and field operations.

Oversee and maintain stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing material shortages or excess.

Assist with periodic cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Demonstrate experience in statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies to support process improvement and operational efficiency.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shipping area in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, production, and logistics to support smooth warehouse and shipping operations.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; candidates with prior experience without the preferred education will be considered.

Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics operations preferred.

Must be able to read tape measures, work instructions, and shipping documents.

Experience using ERP systems and shipping software is a plus.

Forklift certification or ability to become certified is highly desirable.
