We're looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Logistics & Manufacturing Coordinator to join our Operations team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving problems, and excel at coordinating multiple moving pieces, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
As our Logistics & Manufacturing Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Operations, Production, Warehouse, Sales, Customer Excellence, and transportation providers to keep our supply chain running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Schedule company drivers and third-party transportation providers.
  • Book backhauls and maximize transportation efficiency.
  • Manage transportation activities within our Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQF) in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Partner with the Senior Buyer to coordinate transportation and product availability.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing to support production planning.
  • Work with the Customer Excellence Team to prioritize shipments and exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and proactively communicate delays.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Resolve transportation issues quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain shipping records and required documentation.
  • Assist with freight scheduling, carrier selection, and transportation cost management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.

Requirements
Preferred:
  • Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • Manufacturing or food industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating freight and transportation.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • SAP Business One or ERP experience.
