Position Overview: Construction Superintendent

We are looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent who thrives in an environment built on accountability, excellence, and teamwork. In this role, you will help lead onsite operations from project award through completion, ensuring that every detail reflects our uncompromising standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion job site safety and enforce all safety policies with consistency and integrity.
  • Oversee construction activities in accordance with project plans, specifications, and proven work practices.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Supervise craft workers and promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and high performance.
  • Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Maintain schedule efficiency while minimizing unnecessary overtime and general conditions.
  • Ensure accuracy of craft timecards and weekly equipment hour reporting.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, storage, and utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide precise layout and communication across all trades.
  • Support or lead job setup, communication workflows, safety compliance, quality control, and closeout.
  • Assist Project Managers with material scheduling and change management processes.
  • Develop and manage site logistics plans.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum (1) year in a leadership role in commercial construction.
  • Proven background in managing mid- to largescale construction projects.
  • OSHA 30hour or OSHA 10hour certification required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety laws and company policies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical construction documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels.
  • Experience with large construction projects required.
  • NUCOR Buildings experience preferred.
