Job description

Commercial general contractor is seeking a construction project manager with 5-7 years experience. Project manager is responsible for the overall direction, scheduling, submittals, coordination, and cost control to ensure that each and every project undertaken is completed on-time and under the budgeted cost estimate while meeting management and customer objectives. Individual must have a team approach and work closely with Management to develop budgets, provide cost control, scheduling and manage projects.

Qualifications

- Health care experience required

- Construction project manager with minimum of 5-7 years commercial construction experience.

- Understanding of construction means and methods associated with
the renovation and construction of commercial buildings, including sitework.

-Working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work.

- Be proactive, looking for problems that could impede progress and takes
responsibility for solving

- Results oriented with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet
deadlines

- Ability to apply sound judgment and problem solving skills to complex projects and business challenges

-Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills: communicates effectively with management, employees, customers, design team, subcontractors and vendors

- Manage budget and project resources

- Create detail schedules for project superintendent

- Manage submittal process

- High level of motivation, integrity and commitment to team and customers

- Manage punch list and as-builts for closeout process

- Must have experience in constructing new medical facilities from the ground up
