Work you'll do

As an Organization Design & Effectiveness Consultant, you will support project teams in designing and implementing organizational solutions that drive enhanced business performance.

  • Supporting organization design, workforce transformation, and operating model engagements for clients across industries
  • Conducting analyses related to organizational structures, roles, governance, workforce planning, and HR service delivery
  • Developing client-ready presentations, work products, and recommendations using data, stakeholder input, and project findings
  • Participating in interviews, workshops, and working sessions with client stakeholders to gather requirements and inform design decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to support implementation planning and change activities tied to organization and workforce initiatives

We help organizations work effectively, efficiently, and purposefully while they navigate challenges such as re-thinking operating models, adopting AI, and optimizing their labor force.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a consulting or industry role
  • 1+ years of experience in one of the following areas: organization design, job architecture, operating model design, decision rights management, compensation strategy or design, or workforce transition planning
  • 1+ years of experience using Orgvue, Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis, visualization, and insight development
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience demonstrating strong client presence by independently managing project timelines, facilitating workshops or presentations, and effectively guiding stakeholder discussions
  • Successfully contributed to collaborative team projects and delivered individual workstream assignments on deadline, across at least 3 separate projects or engagements
  • Produced documents and presentations using PowerPoint and Excel, delivering clear verbal and written communications to audiences of varying seniority on at least 3 different projects

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,700 to $170,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
