This Global Business Partner (GBP) serves as a strategic People partner to senior leaders at a new and growing Micron site, playing a critical role in enabling business success through people strategy, leadership coaching, and strong site presence. This role combines deep HR expertise with strong business acumen, operational agility, and the ability to build trust quickly in an evolving environment.
The GBP partners closely with senior leaders, the Global Executive Business Partner (GEBP), other network GBPs, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and execute scalable people programs while addressing the unique needs of a startup-like site environment, balanced with community partnerships and engagements.
This role requires strong executive presence, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on site engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong business insight and understanding of key technical priorities facing the organization; use technical knowledge to develop people solutions that are outstanding to the business.
  • Partner in the identification, development and implementation of HR solutions across a given geography, site, or function to interpret and align global programs to meet unique business and geographic needs when appropriate.
  • Support change management initiatives to guarantee smooth transitions and effective adoption of new processes.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR solutions. Foster continuous progress by offering business input to the designated HR teams.
  • Advise and coaches team members and leaders on HR policies and guidelines.
  • Improve the effectiveness of managers by providing process support and guidance. Examples include job mapping, workforce management, on-boarding, performance management, and self-service tools.
  • Promote accountability and alignment through the identification, development and use of HR business metrics.
  • Direct leaders and team members to other HR resources and escalation paths as needed.
  • Apply COE tools and dashboards to keep business leaders informed on trends and advise using data-driven insights.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Senior leader/executive coaching expertise
  • Org development/effectiveness experience
  • Previous HR Business Partner experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years serving in a Human Resources role for an enterprise company
  • Experience in science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • B.S./B.A. in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related experience
  • B.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics

This role is based onsite in Syracuse, New York.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$136,000.00 - $230,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
