The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns - both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members - with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.
Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.
Position Summary:
The DCCC is hiring an Organizing Operations Manager to run the District HQ program and assist the Organizing Department in running a smooth National program. This role will work to ensure that Regional Organizing Directors and their programs in districts have the infrastructure and tools they need to be successful. Strong applicants will be very organized and detail-oriented, as this work requires precision while working on multiple tasks at the same time. We would prefer an applicant that has management experience (volunteer or paid) or is willing to learn management skills. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the department's work in the 2026 cycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage operations and logistics for the organizing work being done in Congressional Districts across the country, working closely with Organizing Leadership and other departments at the DCCC to ensure needs are met
  • Design and implement systems and processes to ensure smooth operations for the team
  • Working with the National Organizing Director, track spending and manage the organizing department's budget
  • Support the hiring and onboarding process of new staff
  • Design and implement systems to scout in-district HQs, execute leases, and set up utilities
  • Help manage the department's Request for Proposal (RFP) processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with state parties and other partners; design, implement, and execute the state party transfer process
  • Other operation tasks as necessary to ensure the success of the Organizing team

Requirements
  • At least one cycle (2 years) of campaign operations, or two years of administrative/clerical experience preferred
  • At least once cycle (2 years) of prior campaign or non-profit organizing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent organization and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management, and interpersonal skills preferred - managing large/complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactively fosters an inclusive atmosphere and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability
