The Opportunity:

At Brkthru, our people are at the heart of everything we do. This internship offers the opportunity to join our Human Resources and Recruitment team and gain hands-on experience supporting key people operations and talent acquisition initiatives. You'll take part in projects that enhance the employee and candidate experience, improve recruiting processes, and strengthen HR programs while learning what it takes to build an organization that's built to grow.


What you’ll do:

  • Participate in Human Resources and Recruitment projects that support key people initiatives.
  • Contribute to audits, process documentation, job description organization, and communication updates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with candidate communications, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and other employee experience initiatives.
  • Support data analysis efforts, exploring how data and research shape people strategies while contributing insights from your own learning and academic experience.
  • Collaborate on internal communications, recruiting systems organization, and other ad hoc projects as they come up.

What you’ll gain:

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college or university program studying Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Ability to dedicate 15-20 hours per week.
  • Based in Michigan with the ability to come into the office at least once during the course of your internship, likely for your capstone presentation in December.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in growing your career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
  • Prior facilitation or presentation experience is a plus.

Other Details:

This is a paid internship compensated at an hourly rate of 13.73 per hour. Interns may work up to 20 hours per week, with a typical schedule averaging 15–20 hours per week, depending on workload and individual availability.


This is a Fall 2026 Internship opportunity starting in September 2026 and ending in December 2026.
