Ready to move, grow, and make an impact? Join Copperfieldโ€™s Distribution Center team as an Order Picker and play a key role in delivering accuracy, speed, and outstanding customer satisfaction every day.

Summary/Objective
The Order Picker works in the Copperfield Distribution Center, picking and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties to safety, quality and productivity standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Accurately pick products for assigned orders using an RF scanner gun. This includes scanning product locations, verifying product types, and confirming quantities.
  • Follow designated pick paths and become familiar with warehouse layout and inventory.
  • Operate, or be willing to train on, an order picker or high-reach truck to retrieve items stored on higher shelves.
  • Communicate inventory concerns, discrepancies, or shortages to the supervisor and record them in the shared computer worksheet.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Follow all safety regulations, including the use of harnesses and completing daily vehicle inspections.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.Temperature is varied to the temperature outside due to open dock doors.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be comfortable with heights.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during the first shift of the workday, currently 7:30 am โ€“ 4:00 pm.

  • During peak season, shifts may extend up to 2 hours later, depending on workload demands.

No travel is expected for this position

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school education or GED equivalent
  • Prior DC pick work and experience operating various lifts preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
