Job description

Seasonal Position in Kapolei

This is a seasonal position located in Kapolei that will only last until the end of December 2026. Summary: Responsible for performing production duties (picking, packing, and shipping) and assisting management to ensure that orders are processed in an efficient, organized, and timely manner. Expected to understand all aspects of the physical fulfillment of orders. Required to assist in order processing and printing of shipment labels, depending on order volume.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fosters a sense of teamwork and collaboration by supporting an employee culture that is aligned with HCC values and operating principles. Ensures all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically, and respectfully
  • Consistently follows departmental directions and adheres to all product specifications, food safety and quality
  • Follows standard operating procedures to ensure that production requirements and standards are consistently met
  • Fulfills (picks, packs, and ships) all orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Practice safe work practices throughout the duration of daily operations
  • Efficiently assembles orders while following quality standards
  • Rotates among duties within the order fulfillment area including, picking, packing, shipping label printing, ice gel/shipping supplies replenishment, "makes" production, and pallet building
  • Maintains workstation in a clean and organized condition
  • Moves product using the WMS System and assist in conducting cycle counts
  • Examines and verifies products across multiple stages of the fulfillment line to ensure correct item, counts and labels
  • Safely conducts pre/post-operational daily tasks including ordering finished products, completing daily order and inventory logs, and replenishing shipping supplies
  • Assists in order processing using various computer shipping programs: Organize and separate customer packing slips/invoices based on fulfillment processes (products, box type, and gel ice / no gel ice orders) Perform quality control of orders to ensure errors are corrected before reaching fulfillment production Distribute master pick lists and packing slips to designated fulfillment production areas
  • Consistently demonstrates a sense of urgency
  • Communicates suggestions, ideas, and solutions to management to improve current operations
  • Cross trains with other department members for maximum flexibility
  • Performs all other Order Fulfillment related tasks as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned including housekeeping of common areas
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:

Physical Demands:
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, and stooping, and squatting and repetitive motions
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime as required, including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
  • Continuously lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
