Job Brief

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for ordering, shipping, receiving, and other associated logistical functions detailed below. These tasks are to be accomplished within an ISO 9001 Quality System.


The position will primarily work during normal business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but may require occasional off-hours and weekend work, and travel.


The goal of the Order Processing Specialist is to ensure that all clients receive accurate orders within their time constraints. To accomplish this goal the position will be required to maintain direct communication with the Danish Headquarters, as well as US Accounting, Sales, Service, Calibration, Rental, Thermocouple, Logistics & Marketing teams.


Responsibilities

  • Client order support (communicating directly with the client as necessary for updates on orders or issues)
  • Entering sales orders into MS NAV (maintain accurate records)
  • Coordinating inside sales orders with Danish manufacturing team and various global vendors
  • Mailing/Shipping/Receiving and associated communication with applicable teams and clients
  • Verifying accuracy of sales team quotes, work out any issues directly with sales team
  • Managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods
  • Planning/Monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries
  • Assisting with conducting internal audits and assessment of business activities for adherence to import/export procedures throughout the business lifecycle


Requirements

  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely strong, proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Hands on experience with office machines
  • Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
