Job Description

We are seeking a highly hands-on NoSQL DBA / Automation Engineer to support Dell''s database modernization and automation initiatives. This is a true execution-focused role requiring approximately 40% NoSQL DBA work and 60% automation development. The ideal candidate must already be able to independently administer NoSQL databases and develop automation around database operations with minimal ramp-up.

True Must-Have Skills
  • Hands-on NoSQL DBA experience across at least 2 platforms.
  • Experience with at least two of: Cassandra, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, SingleStore, StarDog.
  • Neo4j + Cassandra experience is highly preferred and represents the highest-value combination.
  • Strong automation development experience for database provisioning, administration, patching, upgrades, and operational tasks.
  • Strong Python scripting skills for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux VM / Linux Virtual Machines.
  • Experience with AI-native development and Spec-Driven Development (SDD). Experience using Devin or similar AI-powered development tools is highly preferred.
  • Strong hands-on database operations experience; this is not an advisory or documentation-only role
