Oracle DBA (Oracle 19c RAC | Data Guard | GoldenGate)

Location: Taylor, TX  3 months onsite (MON-FRI) and then Remote
Duration: Long term, 2 years

This role needs US Citizens as per client requirement.

Duration: We accept W2, FTE, 1099 and C2C

About the Role

Seeking a Senior Oracle DBA with extensive experience in Oracle 19c, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and enterprise database migrations. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting large-scale Oracle database migration projects in a highly secure environment.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen (Mandatory)
  • Ability to pass background checks and NERC CIP security onboarding
  • 15+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
  • Oracle Database 19c OCP certification
  • Expert in Oracle 19c, Grid Infrastructure, 2-Node RAC, ASM
  • Strong experience with Active Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, FSFO, and Far Sync
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate 21c Microservices
  • Proven expertise in Oracle database migrations using RMAN, GoldenGate, and Data Guard
  • Experience performing near-zero downtime migrations (≤5 minutes)
  • Oracle Security: TDE, Unified Auditing
  • Strong Linux (RHEL/OEL 8/9) administration
  • Experience preparing migration runbooks, cutover, and rollback plans

Candidate Must Provide

  • Details of near-zero downtime migrations (environment size, number of databases, downtime achieved, use of Active Data Guard/Far Sync)
  • Experience with Oracle Advanced Security (TDE, Unified Auditing, Key Vault)
  • Confirmation of availability to work 100% onsite (Monday–Friday) for first 3 months in a secure client environment with restrictions on personal devices and file transfers.
