We are seeking a skilled and experienced CX Data Architect with expertise in Oracle CX Data Models, Oracle CX tools, and large-scale data conversion for customer experience (CX) applications.

Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. Percentage of travel to client sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies.
Job Summary:
The CX Data Architect has expertise in Oracle CX Data Models, Oracle CX tools, and large-scale data conversion for customer experience (CX) applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our CX data architecture, ensuring efficient and effective data conversion, integration, and management across Oracle CX platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about designing data-driven solutions that improve customer interactions and drive business value.
Essential Functions:
CX Data Architecture Design:
  • Design and implement the overall data architecture strategy for Oracle CX applications (e.g., Oracle CX Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop scalable, efficient, and secure data models that enhance data management for CX systems.
  • Define best practices for data governance, integration, and quality assurance in Oracle CX environments.

Data Conversion & Migration:
  • Lead large-scale Oracle CX data conversion projects, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from legacy systems to Oracle CX platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map legacy data to the Oracle CX data model, ensuring data consistency and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Provide technical leadership for resolving complex data issues related to migration and conversion.

Integration with Oracle Tools & Systems:
  • Implement and optimize integration of Oracle CX data models with other Oracle tools and platforms, such as Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, and third-party applications.
  • Develop ETL processes for moving data between Oracle CX applications and external systems, ensuring data consistency and availability.

Data Quality & Governance:
  • Enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure high-quality and compliant CX data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data quality requirements and monitor data performance.
  • Establish data validation and testing frameworks to guarantee data integrity and accuracy across all CX platforms.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions that align with the Oracle CX strategy.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Oracle CX data models to development, integration, and analytics teams.
  • Lead workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team proficiency with Oracle CX data models and tools.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization:
  • Stay current with the latest Oracle CX product updates, features, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate data management processes and propose improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and data-driven insights to streamline processes and drive business outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
• Participate on internal projects.
• Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Competency:
Strong expertise in Oracle CX data models, architecture, and tools (e.g., Oracle CX Cloud, Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud).
• Extensive experience with Oracle data conversion methodologies, ETL tools, and data migration techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud infrastructure (OCI).
• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards in Oracle environments.
• Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
• Willingness to get hands on with the product.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• May assist with training members of the technical staff.
• May conduct interviews.
• Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
• May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Work Environment:
The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.
Position Type and expected hours of work:
• Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management, with a focus on Oracle CX applications.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data migration and conversion projects for Oracle CX environments (e.g., Oracle Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud).
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Oracle Cloud or Oracle CX solutions.
• Oracle Data Management or Data Architecture certifications.
