About the role
Concept Plus is seeking an Exadata Cloud Specialist who will be responsible for Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) build, deployment, and the migration of applications and Oracle databases into CMS OCI/ExaCC environments with minimal disruption to mission-critical workloads.
What you'll do
  • Support ExaCC build and deployment following standardized, Infrastructure-as-Code driven patterns.
  • Plan and execute database and application migrations to ExaCC and OCI in alignment with CMS governance and operational requirements.
  • Develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, rollback procedures, and operational readiness materials.
  • Tune and validate performance, availability, and backup/recovery for migrated databases.
  • Coordinate with the OCI Cloud Architect and CMS teams on landing-zone and network dependencies.

Required Qualifications
  • US Citizen
  • Hands-on Exadata Cloud@Customer deployment and administration experience.
  • Strong Oracle Database administration and migration skills (Data Pump, RMAN, GoldenGate, Zero Downtime Migration).
  • Experience migrating large, mission-critical databases in regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of OCI networking and security constructs relevant to database connectivity.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP High / CMS ARS / NIST 800-53 r5 controls.
  • Must satisfy CMS security requirements and obtain/maintain applicable CMS background investigation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Autonomous Database and RAC experience. • Prior federal/healthcare data migration experience.
  • Scripting/automation with Terraform or Python.
  • 8+ years Oracle DBA/engineering with 3+ years on Exadata and/or ExaCC and demonstrable large-scale migrations. Oracle Exadata / Autonomous Database certifications preferred.
