• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders to understand their unique needs and goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that may include evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, employing methods such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate positive change.
• Lead group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences, fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on addiction recovery strategies, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development workshops.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice.

The Mental Health Counselor will engage primarily with adults facing substance use disorders, including those dealing with various levels of addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. The counselor’s role is vital in providing a safe space for patients to explore their challenges, build resilience, and acquire necessary coping skills. By using personalized treatment approaches, you will help individuals and their families navigate the complexities of recovery.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and valid professional licensure as an LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or Psy.D (Doctor of Psychology) in the state of Washington.

• Prior experience working with patients in addiction recovery, particularly in a telehealth setting, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for substance use disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and building therapeutic relationships.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
