Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The Systems Administrator, Installation is expected to be able to accomplish the following: * Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. * Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. * Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. * Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. * Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. * Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. * May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). * Minimum 5-8 years of experience in systems administration within enterprise environments. * Experience supporting multi-user systems in Windows and/or Linux server environments. * Experience operating within DoD or Intelligence Community environments. * One of the following DoD 8570/ SP-SYS-002 c ertifications: * Security+ (CE) * SSCP * CySA+ * GSEC * CND * One of the following environment certifications: * Microsoft Windows Server certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) * Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) * Linux+ (CompTIA) * VMware VCP DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) * Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator * VMware VCP-DCV * AWS Sys Ops Administrator Overview We are seeking a Systems Administrator, Installation to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
