ABOUT THE ROLE
Trojan Battery Company is looking for a driven and thorough person for the Pasting Operator role. Your role as the Pasting Operator (2nd shift) will include applying the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help our world class batteries hold its charge. You will be loading raw materials into machines, manually on/off bear materials from/to machines and perform visual inspections for quality and quantity.
As the Pasting Operator, you will be committed to performing your role safely and have the ability to wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator. SHIFTS
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature and heavy environment is a plus.
  • Must be clean shaven
  • All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site.
  • You must be able to lift 50-80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use hand tools and learn specific machine controls, gauges, etc.
  • Strong team skills
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to complete any required documentation.
  • High dedicated with a proven record of excellent attendance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma, GED or greater required.
  • 2-3 years' manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history.
  • Basic English proficiency to interpret work and apply safety instructions.
  • Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
