Saturday - - - 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Sunday - - - 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Overview
Armorous is seeking a dependable and adaptable Armed Field Training Officer (FTO) to support field operations through rapid-response coverage, employee training, and operational support.
This is a dynamic role designed for a high-performing security professional who can step into any site with confidence, deliver consistent service, and support both team development and client satisfaction.
The FTO plays a critical role in ensuring coverage for last-minute call-offs, supporting new employee training, and maintaining operational excellence across all assigned locations.
What You'll Do
Rapid Response & Coverage
  • Provide same-day coverage for call-offs, open shifts, and urgent staffing needs
  • Respond quickly to assignments across multiple client sites
  • Maintain readiness to work at new or unfamiliar locations

Field Operations Support
  • Conduct site visits and support client-facing operations
  • Assist Operations Supervisors with field-related needs
  • Support dispatch and operational coordination as needed

Training & Development
  • Train new hires on-site and reinforce post orders
  • Provide refresher training to current staff
  • Identify performance gaps and communicate feedback

Security Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties in accordance with post orders and company standards
  • Observe and report incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions

Additional Responsibilities
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and assist with fleet readiness
  • Deliver uniforms, equipment, and supplies to sites
  • Utilize body camera per company policy
  • Accurately track time, mileage, and activity
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of security experience
  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Active BSIS Guard Card
  • Active BSIS Firearm Permit
  • All BSIS Training Courses Completed & Available
    • 8-Hour Guard Card Course (PTA/WMD or AUF)
    • 32-Hours Continuing Education Courses
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions in the field
  • Tech-savvy (smartphones, reporting tools, Google Suite)
