Job description

IESE Solutions is seeking Operations Research Analysts to support the U.S. Space Forces (USSF) mission of delivering warfighter capability via the Space Systems Command (SSC) directorates. Position is available in Los Angeles AFB, CA.

This program is supporting Government weapon systems program offices with subject matter experts that have a background with the Space-based and/or Ground Systems including Command & Control services. Team members provide systems engineering development and integration expertise in support of various capabilities that protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of advising and assisting the Government with their architecture and full lifecycle systems engineering processes that enable key systems (e.g., satellites and their associated ground systems, ground-based space systems and their command and control capabilities) to meet warfighter needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide acquisition support for Advanced Space Project acquisition planning and development activities to include, but not limited to, space prototypes, demonstrations, and concept validation.

Provide advice and recommendations for acquisition, procurement and source selection plans and shall develop and oversee requirements to meet program, schedule, contracts and cost constraints.

Recommend contractual structures, terms and conditions and contracts price instructions to best integrate and meet budgetary mandates and reports.

Provide subject matter expertise and support to project baselines, project management plans, memorandums of agreement, requirements traceability plans, project reviews, resource plans and policies implementation plans.

Provide acquisition support for hosted payload acquisition planning and development activities. The support shall establish, coordinate and maintain interface management between cost, schedule, budget, and technical performance while providing direct acquisition support.

Interface between the acquisition organization and program functional areas to include but not limited to interface between the program office and cost, schedule, budget, contracting, technical teams, and other program stakeholders.

Appropriate expertise for providing this support will include possessing skill sets derived from multiple disciplines such as program management, contracting, technical expertise, legal training or experience, price analysis, and budget/cost management.
