About the Roleย
We'reย looking for a driven self-starter to join our fast-paced Operations Planning team, focused on Roku's hardware products business. As an Operations Planner, you will be an individual contributor supporting planning leadership through reporting, forecasting, supply-demand analysis, and the S&OP process.ย
The ideal candidate is quantitatively driven, detail-oriented, and brings strong problem-solvingย expertise.ย You'reย comfortable analyzing large datasets to surface actionable insights and thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration drives results. This role works closely with Operations (Procurement, Logistics, and COE), Sales, and Finance & Accounting to execute key initiatives that fuel the success of Roku's hardware business.ย
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $109,900 - $162,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What You'll Be Doingย
- Build and maintain production build plans based on sales demand forecasts across Roku's hardware product lines and supplier baseย
- Lead weekly sales forecast and build plan reviews, generating reports and tracking performance against objectives to optimize supply-demand planningย
- Review supply commitments against the build plan, identify gaps and excess materials, and ensure supply continuity while minimizing excess and obsolescence (E&O)ย
- Drive supply-demand balance by collaborating with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues quickly and effectivelyย
- Lead weekly S&OE/S&OP meetings with the sales operations and planning team for Roku hardware products
- Support leadership in developing short- and long-term strategic plans for Roku's hardware businessย
- Communicate status, risks, and opportunities consistently to key stakeholdersย
- Partner with the Supply Chain Excellence team to advance digitization, including AI adoption, and develop reporting tools that drive continuous improvement across the hardware business
We're excited if you haveย
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or universityย
- 3-5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, consumer electronics, e-commerce, retail, or digital mediaย
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and ERP/planning systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan)ย
- Strong analytical background in data modeling and reporting, with a track record of building scalable solutions that generate business insight - including hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate analysis, automate data transformations, and deliver quality insights fasterย
- Experience in operations planning, data science/modeling, or quantitative business roles tied to financial or operational performance preferredย
- A data-driven approach to problem-solving with a demonstrated history of driving results through continuous improvementย
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departmentsย
- A bias toward action and the ability to thrive in a high-production, fast-paced environmentย
- Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers (CM/ODMs), or offshore supplier teams
- Experience working in and collaborating effectively in a multi-site, virtual context, including regular coordination with overseas teams across different time zones, particularly with China teamsย
- Ability to travel up to 15%ย
