Job description

Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring an Operations Manager for our Whitewater, WI manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations, develop and improve manufacturing processes, and drive safe, efficient production while supporting quality, cost, and delivery goals.

  • Location: Whitewater, WI

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 1st Shift

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Salary

  • Travel: Up to 10%

What You'll Do as an Operations Manager
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations with a focus on production efficiency, quality, safety, cost savings, and overall facility performance.

  • Develop and manage manufacturing plans and production schedules that balance customer demand with capacity, adjusting as needed for changes in demand, resource availability, or equipment performance.

  • Identify and implement best practices and process improvements that optimize cost, reduce lead time, improve productivity, and support continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing activities with production goals and business objectives.

  • Establish, monitor, and enforce quality standards to ensure products meet organizational and industry requirements.

  • Maintain and administer safety protocols, reinforce compliance with safety regulations, and support a safe working environment.

  • Track and report vendor performance, helping ensure external suppliers meet applicable quality and delivery requirements.

  • Manage staffing levels, lead and develop team members, maintain required operational documentation, and promote 5S, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations.

  • Demonstrated experience managing production teams and driving process improvements.

  • Experience with manufacturing systems, lean production methodologies, and operational efficiency initiatives.
