What you will be doing:

  • Plan, organize and manage the work of unionized employees;
  • Ensure that staff members comply with policies, administrative procedures, safety rules, collective agreements and government regulations;
  • Act as a resource person for all employees in the assigned territory;
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to establish and implement policies, procedures and objectives;
  • Promote safe work practices, by conducting safety audits, participating in company safety meetings, and meeting one-on-one with staff members;
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets;
  • Conduct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints;
  • Collaborate with internal or external stakeholders to determine the causes of accidents that occur during transport and improve safety procedures;
  • Fill-in on Armored and/or ATM routes when needed
  • Participate in the disciplinary process or the settlement of grievances;
  • All other related tasks.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personnel management in a unionized environment;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with 6 or less demerits
  • Possession of a valid Non-Restricted and Restricted Firearms License (PAL: Possession & Acquisitions License)
  • Very good leadership, negotiation, and judgment skills;
  • Strong focus on teamwork and partnership;
  • Sense of urgency, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and active listening developed.
