Job Summary

The Operations Manager of LTL Brokerage Services will be responsible for the sales, pricing, and operational development of the LTL brokerage business. This leader will play a key role in building and developing a team that both sells and executes transportation services that create value for customers, complement existing capabilities, and drive strong revenue and profit growth. This position represents a leadership opportunity within a growing organization and offers a competitive salary with bonus potential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, schedule, and manage team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
  • Drive team performance to support annual goals and objectives.
  • Promote a service-focused culture that encourages collaboration, strong morale, and teamwork.
  • Support the growth and professional development of team members.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure established procedures and best practices are followed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, shippers, and internal team members through effective and timely communication.
  • Develop creative transportation solutions that add value for both existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business, improve processes, and strengthen operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Experience in business development, sales, highway transportation, and brokerage operations preferred.

  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred.
