Company Description

Custom Processing Services provides contract manufacturing/toll processing services to a wide variety of industries. Specialized processes center on particle size reduction using a number of methods including jaw crushing, pulverizing, micronizing and media milling. Additional services such as flash drying, surface treatments, blending, dispersing and packaging are also available. The Processing Pros provide new product development assistance from R&D concepts through their commercialization. In addition to CPS's technical grade facilities, a state-of-the art, dedicated building is available for cGMP processing.

Job Description

Available Shift:

Weekend Nights: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:45pm to 7:15am

Responsibilities

  • Personal and team associate alignment to culture - Respect for Self, Peer, CPS, and Client
  • Maintain a highly focused work environment on safety
    • Incident avoidance and investigation
    • Housekeeping and cleanliness
  • Participate in and/or lead cross-functional team performance, focused on agreed upon metrics
  • Assure alignment of decisions and activities with the Strategic Plan
  • Tactical duties that include:
    • Cost Accounting Reporting
    • Process Optimization
    • Shift Planning, Shift Start, and Shift Wrap Up activities
    • Shift Attainment (achievement), including uptime and efficiency (product viability)
    • Material usage, including Live Inventory Entry tasks
    • Production Scheduling, including labor planning
    • Assure associate interactions are professional and aligned with the Core Values
    • Assure the operation is run to optimize output without sacrifice of Employee Health& Safety, and Product Quality.
    • Perform product review and preliminary approval for release
    • End of run review and approval
  • Build People
  • Involvement, Interest, Ownership of activities in a 24/7 operation
  • Plant specific tasks as needed to support company certifications, systems, and programs
  • Other functions as needed to support the overall business

  • Familiar with metric based performance cultures
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent career experience
