General Manager
America's Auto Auction is looking to add to our growing team. We are looking for an eager and experienced candidate to fill the role of General Manager. This position will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the auction.
The GM is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation. You will lead a team of dedicated managers and employees, manage daily operations, and ensure the efficient and profitable running of the auction. This is an important leadership role that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Auto Auction General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience is preferred. Auction Fleet Lease Manager, Auction Operations Manager, Dealership Used Car Director, or Dealership General Manager experience will be considered.

Responsibilities for General Manager

  • Work directly with sales, administrative and auction operation employees.

Requirements

  • Previous upper management experience in the automotive industry.
  • Auto auction upper management experience is a plus.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of auto auction processes.
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Preferably: Proficient in using auction management systems and other related tools.
