What You'll Be Doing:

Operational Leadership

  • Lead, coach, motivate and engage employees.
  • Provide performance feedback to employees regarding strengths and growth areas.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Train and mentor team members on efficient and accurate picking procedures to ensure safe and timely order fulfillment.
  • Stay current on training procedures and warehouse processes, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and sharing recommendations with leadership.
  • Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support smooth operations.
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and handling products with care, training employees on safety best practices.
Technical and Inventory Support
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory tracking, and accurate reporting of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Manage the repair shop and perform basic technical maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by processing returns and conducting regular audits.
  • Utilize scanners to accurately track all product movements and maintain precise inventory records.

Picking and Receiving

  • Oversee and execute accurate product picking operations to reduce errors and improve the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for picking and receiving processes to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage daily merchandise transfer order processes (MTOs) by running reports and using scanners to execute picking, ensuring accurate inventory flow.
Customer Experience and Issue Resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns related to product quality, delivery timelines, and craftsmanship.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Foster positive, long-term relationships with customers by ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations at every opportunity.
  • Proactively identify and address potential sales or delivery issues, implementing solutions before they impact customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions to ensure clear communication and follow-up.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • OSHA training experience with a solid understanding of workplace safety protocols.
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
