SALARY RANGE: $105,150.00 - $144,537.50

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Provides financial and business leadership to the Wholesale division to deliver excellent customer service and maximize profitability. Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the business function of the Wholesale Division. Leads the data management and analysis of business processes and programs. Coordinates closely with IT data functions and the current enterprise data strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyzes financial results to identify business operation changes. Recommends and coordinates implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
Provides leadership in assessing the internal rate of return on capital projects and acquisitions. Responsible for working with Division personnel to complete the AFE process and integrate it into existing operations.
Responsible for analyzing sales information, market data, projections, and other meaningful information to prepare annual sales and gross income budgets, capital and overhead budgets, and long-range forecasts.
Responsible for managing, reconciling, and reporting distributor incentive rebates and providing direction to accounting on month-end and year-end accruals to ensure accurate financial statement reporting of rebates.
Independently analyzes financial results to identify business operation changes and recommends and coordinates implementation of performance improvement initiatives
Responsible for working with Division personnel and accounting to ensure monthly financial statements are complete and accurate.
Leads and manages vendor and customer prepayment programs, trait and genetic royalty payments, and year-end processing
Independently provides leadership in assessing the internal rate of return on capital projects and acquisitions. Responsible for working with Division personnel to complete the AFE process and integrate it into existing operations
Provides leadership to team members and demonstrates the ability to perform backup duties for the Data & Financial Analysis Manager. Positively impacts team morale and working environment
Independently identifies process and technology opportunities that would help promote growth and efficiencies. Maintains knowledge of technology advancements and how tools could be utilized to enhance wholesale growt
Creates, develops, and disseminates financial and operational metrics and reports. Provides leadership to division employees to strengthen business acumen.
Works closely with Division management in assessing short and long-term objectives to assist in developing strategic plans to achieve their goals along with process metrics that align with these objectives.
Responsible for market research and trend analysis to identify strategies and opportunities for improving the overall financial performance of the Division
Serves as a liaison to all other GROWMARK divisions.
Leads business analysis support efforts for special studies.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, or the equivalent thereof, and 10 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of accounting and finance. An advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CPA, or CMA is desired to demonstrate advanced business/accounting knowledge
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others while displaying team-building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of GROWMARK's Wholesale business
Understand and be attuned to the environment in which both GROMWARK and its stakeholders and suppliers operate.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and passport.
Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
