Job description

US Farathane, LLC. seeks an Operations Manager in Georgetown, TX to develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image. Provide input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products. Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered. Provide guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs. Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. Review production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports. Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives. Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a foreign equivalent, and two (2) years of experience as a Manager or similar position for an automotive production or automotive component manufacturer utilizing all of the following: DFM; ERP; DMAIC; Root Cause Analysis; Production Planning and Scheduling; PFMEA; DFMEA; Process Development; Machine Cell Layout; Value Engineering; CapEx Planning; OpEx Planning; APQP; Equipment Commissioning; 8D Corrective actions; PPAP; DOE; 2-shot Injection Molding; Equipment Availability Analysis; Engel machines; Fanuc robots; KPI tracking and data visualization; capacity planning specific to injection molding; smed; 6S; and value stream mapping.
