Job Summary:

The Cannabis Coordinator II plays a critical role in managing and distributing cannabis materials, with added responsibilities in inventory oversight, process refinement, and mentoring junior staff. This position ensures compliance, quality control, and operational efficiency in the coordination and tracking of cannabis materials for production and infusion processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Accurately track and manage cannabis materials, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Assist in developing and refining workflows for improved material handling and tracking.
  • Mentor and guide junior Cannabis Coordinators to align with operational goals.
  • Perform advanced reconciliation between ERP and METRC systems, addressing and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Compliance, and Production, to align material usage and forecasting.
  • Lead coordination efforts for vendor pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate exchanges.
  • Analyze data to forecast inventory needs and recommend adjustments to the Cannabis Specialist.
  • Assist in auditing COAs and maintain up-to-date documentation for regulatory compliance.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced understanding of cannabis grading and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in METRC inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage complex workflows.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain or inventory management are preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in cannabis inventory or related roles, demonstrating increased responsibilities and leadership capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and other industrial elements.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend over, and pick up items and have constant movement for the duration of the shift.
    • Must be able to lift, push, kneel, and pick up items, both small and large.
    • Capability to operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.

Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):

This position is scheduled on a full-time basis. Specific shift times and workdays are determined by the operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Whenever feasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.
