THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager [Cannabis] to oversee and grow retail and wholesale sales operations across Pennsylvania. This role will lead a team of Account Executives, drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support sales strategy execution across the market. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships in the field, and has experience managing sales performance, forecasting, and team development. This role requires regular travel throughout Pennsylvania to support Account Executives within their territories.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle including forecasting, account management, negotiations, and deal execution.
  • Lead and develop a team of Account Executives, driving performance against revenue and margin goals.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop annual and quarterly sales strategies and revenue plans.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports by product category and channel to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular dispensary visits and in-market engagement.
  • Ensure dispensaries maintain appropriate inventory levels through proactive communication and sales planning.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams on forecasting, budgeting, compensation planning, and sales processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to support business growth.
  • Partner with Branding and Marketing teams to support promotional initiatives and advertising strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or related industries.
  • Cannabis and/or CPG experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Experience building and executing sales strategies that drive new business growth.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, and motivating sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Experience using CRM and sales management platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must pass any required background checks.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
  • This role requires regular travel throughout Pennsylvania.
