Job Summary
The Corporate Business Operations Manager is a strategic and influential leader responsible for overseeing the implementation of business programs, system enhancements, and initiatives that drive performance across Sales and Marketing operations in North America. This role manages a team of high-performing associates focused on process improvement, user acceptance testing (UAT), and internal consultingensuring the field is equipped with optimized tools, efficient workflows, and strategic guidance aligned with business priorities. With a proven track record in leading teams and cross-functional projects, this individual will promote operational excellence, innovation, and strong collaboration across departments.
They will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement, and refine business processesthrough analysis, system support, training, and communication strategies. This role is hands-on in delivering strategies, managing change adoption, and analyzing trends to improve field and enterprise outcomes. The Business Operations Manager is also responsible for developing and mentoring a team of 34 direct reports and additional team members, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and leadership through influence.
The ideal candidate will have at least 57+ years of experience leading people and projects, managing up to senior stakeholders, and influencing cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and strategic business outcomes.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsibility #1 Strategic Initiative Leadership and Program Implementation (40%)
Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale programs and initiatives across business operations. Responsibilities include ideation, requirements gathering, UAT, training, rollout planning, and post-launch support. Align strategic goals with field and corporate priorities and ensure that process adoption drives measurable outcomes.
o Provide executive-ready reporting on metrics and outcomes.
o Ensure consistent rollout practices and field communication.
o Assess systems impact, monitor for risk, and identify efficiencies.
o Identifies impacted field partners, designs communication and training based on taking into consideration any regionally specific business impacts.
o Empower team members to take ownership of initiatives and support their professional development through growth-focused feedback.
Responsibility #2 Field Strategy & Support (20%)
Act as the main point of contact and escalation lead for system issues, field operations support, and sales tool enhancements. Develop contingency playbooks for system outages and guide field associates through operational shifts.
o Ensure high-touch support for 150+ sales and marketing sites.
o Build strong relationships with regional and field leaders to anticipate business needs.
Foster strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure clear and timely communication
Responsibility #3 Process Improvement (20%)
Drive continuous improvements across sales, marketing, and operational workflows by identifying inefficiencies and streamlining business processes.
o Leverage insights and stakeholder feedback to design scalable solutions.
o Serve as a consultant to business partners by understanding their operational needs and translating them into actionable enhancements.
o Support the design and optimization of internal tools, SOPs, and training content.
Responsibility #4 Risk Mitigation (20%)
Identify and proactively manage areas of compliance and operational risk across business functions.
o Guide development and adoption of tools to monitor cash handling, premium processes, PII protection, and audit readiness.
o Lead readiness activities and documentation maintenance that support internal controls and regulatory alignment.
o Ensure associates understand compliance standards and maintain updates to the compliance SOPs.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Experience of leading a team responsible for results in a fast-paced environment
Capacity to coordinate multiple large, complex projects and daily support with little direction
Experience in working in diverse environments and building a diverse team
Ability for analyzing data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
A leader who is development focused and will support all team members in moving forward on or off their team

Ability to interact with various business partners at all levels in the organization.
Education
BS or BA degree (Business or related field preferred)
5-7+ years of experience in leadership, business strategy, project management, or related areas

5-7+ years of business experience or related field
Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
