HRIS & Financial Systems Implementation Manager
Position Summary
The HRIS & Financial Systems Implementation Manager leads the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of FABco's enterprise HR, payroll, and financial systems. This position is responsible for managing system implementations, data migration, configuration, testing, integrations, reporting, process design, and change management initiatives while serving as the primary internal owner of the Company's HRIS and financial technology platforms.
The role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Operations, IT, and external vendors to ensure systems support business objectives, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
System Implementation & Project Management
Lead the implementation and migration of enterprise HR, payroll, and financial systems, including project planning, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
Coordinate internal stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure successful project execution.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and communications.
System Configuration & Data Management
Lead system configuration, data migration, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
Establish and maintain system security, workflows, business rules, and data governance standards.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across enterprise systems.
Business Process Optimization
Analyze, design, and improve HR, payroll, finance, and operational business processes.
Identify and implement automation, reporting, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
Document system configurations, procedures, and operational controls.
Systems Ownership & Support
Serve as the primary administrator and internal product owner for HRIS and financial systems.
Manage system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, vendor relationships, and user support.
Support compliance, internal controls, reporting requirements, and audit activities.
Training & Change Management
Develop training materials, support end-user adoption, and lead change management initiatives.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to system users across the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field required.
Five (5) or more years of experience implementing, administering, or supporting enterprise HRIS, payroll, ERP, or financial systems.
Experience leading system implementation or migration projects required.
Experience with HR, payroll, accounting, financial reporting, or ERP systems required.
Experience with Paycom, Paycor, Sage 100, Sage Intacct, UKG, Workday, Dayforce, Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms preferred.
Construction, manufacturing, or multi-state employer experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of HRIS, payroll, ERP, financial, and business process management systems.
Experience leading system implementations, data migrations, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with reporting tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel.
Strong communication, training, and change management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Physical Requirements
This position is primarily performed in an office environment. The employee must be able to operate standard office equipment, work at a computer for extended periods, communicate effectively, and occasionally move between office, shop, and project locations. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.

The employee must be able to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, maintain attention to detail, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
