FACILITY FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
  • Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
  • Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
  • Collect and bale cardboard
  • Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
  • Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
  • Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
