Microsoft 365 Collaboration Operations Engineer
CGI is seeking a Microsoft 365 Collaboration Operations Engineer to support the daily operations, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise collaboration platforms. This role is responsible for providing advanced operational support, incident management, troubleshooting, and platform monitoring across Microsoft 365 services. The engineer will work closely with support teams, infrastructure partners, and business stakeholders to maintain platform health, resolve complex issues, and ensure a high-quality user experience. This role is located at a client site in Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC, or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Responsibilities include managing escalations, performing root cause analysis, supporting production changes, maintaining operational documentation, and contributing to service stability and performance initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role include: 2+ years of Microsoft 365 engineering experience, strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms, experience providing L3 operational support in a large scale enterprise environment, solid understanding of incident management, problem management, and service request processes, hands on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing platforms, ability to perform root cause analysis and drive issues through to resolution, experience monitoring platform health, performance metrics, and operational dashboards, knowledge of enterprise monitoring and alerting tools, strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 collaboration services, experience supporting production deployments, changes, and release activities, ability to create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures, strong analytical skills with experience identifying trends and producing operational reports, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional technical and business teams, process improvement and automation mindset, strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $86,500.00 - $123,200.00.
