Job description

Step into the pivotal role of Senior Operations Supervisor at our Rome, GA plant, where you’ll play a key role in driving operational success within our food manufacturing operations. This is an on-site, night shift position (4:30 PM – 5:30 AM; flexibility required), placing you at the center of production and leadership activity.

You’ll lead a dynamic team focused on delivering results across safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting daily processing and packaging operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact—leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and developing frontline talent within a highly collaborative and performance-driven environment.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Production Operations – Direct all activities for assigned production line(s) to meet goals related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity while adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify and eliminate cost and waste by applying Kellanova Work Systems (KWS/TPM) principles and leading site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance Safety And Quality – Implement best practices for safety, quality, and equipment reliability, using problem-solving and root cause analysis to address operational challenges.
  • Coach And Develop Teams – Build team capability by coaching employees, supporting pillar/grassroots teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion.
  • Optimize Performance – Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans based on downtime, inventory, and demand fluctuations while minimizing unplanned downtime through effective equipment management

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing safety and/or quality programs and processes
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives (KWS/TPM or equivalent systems)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience coaching and developing frontline teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Compensation

The annual salary range is $77,000 - $101,010, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
