Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages employees in various functions, to include event setup, conversions and tear down, facility inspections, scheduling, and review of daily reports. Directs, supervises and schedules all aspects of Operations including event staffing, grounds, housekeeping, setups and changeovers. Must be able to work well with others. Communicate with and manage staff to execute relevant event information to ensure all tasks are completed with the Event Request details to ensure facility readiness and smooth operation. Manage full and part-time staff to include interviewing, hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Develop operating procedures that conform to corporate standards, customize the specific needs of the facility and consistent with the goals and objectives of the client, facility and corporation. Implement and train all employees on the operating procedures, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to corporate standards. Prepares written disciplinary actions, memos. Manage and direct cleaning tasks of housekeeping crew to perform daily, event and regularly scheduled cleaning services. Responsible for directing the overall operations of the venue, including carpet cleaning, office cleaning, bathroom maintenance, housekeeping, and other repairs as needed and logged. Ensure adherence to safety codes, ensuring adherence to OSHA and other safety related codes. Interacts with other divisions regarding facility conditions. Continual inspects facilities before, during and after assigned events or clean-ups. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred. Three (3) years related experience and/or training in the public assembly industry in an operations position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess leadership skills and experience in supervising/training personnel, scheduling, time management, and purchasing procedures through verbal or written communications. Supervisory experience required.

Skills and Abilities

Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and planning skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and must be able to learn required business systems. Must have ability to cover supervisor shifts as needed to keep operations and housekeeping running smoothly. Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
