Job description

We are looking for a dynamic, organized, technologically savvy, figure-it-out individual to serve as operations assistant for our growing children's apparel brand, HBCU Pride & Joy. The person in this role will work with all departments to ensure effective and efficient completion of administrative, operational, and customer-focused tasks to aid in the growth and functioning of the business. Special emphasis will be on logistics assistance, coordinating shipments to and from clients.

The responsibilities of our Operations Assistant include:

Assisting organizational leaders with various duties as necessary.

Performing administrative duties
Managing records of company policies and procedures
Coordinating company meeting, events and sessions with other departments
Preparingguests or client accommodations
Creating presentations, documents, files, spreadsheets and databases
Preparing customer orders and communicating with customers to address any inquiries and/or concerns.

Assist with inventory management and overall office operations.

Our Operations Assistant must be trustworthy, adept, proficient, highly motivated, can endure work pressure, manage multiple projects, and be very dependable. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new technologies quickly. Impeccable written and oral communication skills are a must. Nauseating attention to detail required. A passion for and understanding of the HBCU culture is required.

Associate's degree or higher is preferred. Significant experience in an administrative capacity is required.

MUST be available to work daytime hours on weekdays. Occasional weekend work may be required.

COVID-19 protocols enacted and enforced. Face masks and other protocols are required for ALL.
