Job description

NOTE:This is a proposal requisition; all employment discussions/offers are fully contingent upon contract award.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
The Operations Manager will serve as the Client's main POC for the performance of program operations functions, assist the Government with financial issues, and assist with the development of business processes.
PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Control the contractor deployment process to resolve operational issues in the deployed force
  • Ensure that all contractor deployments are executed on schedule and in full compliance with DoD, Army, and theater directives
  • Implement activities involving staffing and retention, forward movement preparation, short-term forecasting, onboarding into customer facilities, reviewing financial data, staff/employee engagement, and customer engagement
  • Coordinate skill verification between customer, contractor, and candidates to ensure alignment of staff skillsets to required mission
  • Manage execution of daily operations/recruiting
  • Lead and manage Team Leads in personnel management, training assessment, and professional development.
It is required that the Operations Manager has the following qualifications
  • Possess a current PMI-PMP or PMI PgMP certification.
  • Possess a final TS clearance with SCI
  • Be located within a local commuting distance of 50 miles from Fort Bragg, NC and shall be required to occasionally travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
It is desired that the Operations Manager has the following qualifications
  • Possess eight years or more of relevant senior leadership/program management or operational experience, within DoD, including three years of experience on projects of similar scope and complexity to SOFETOPS.
  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in special operations intelligence or operational experience within the SOF community.
