Who We're Looking For
This role executes on essential behind-the-scenes functions of operations, which includes travel and conferences, contracts and RFPs, compliance, IT, and office and administrative support. You'll collaborate with other teams and assist with people operations and sales operations. At its core, this role functions as the glue of the company, ensuring that every team member across the country is fully supported by the organization.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the inner workings of a business, and who is motivated to contribute to those functions that keep a business running and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming customer and vendor legal contracts, and ensure contracts move forward efficiently.
- Navigate and execute on state, local, and district compliance requirements.
- Provide onboarding, travel and IT support to team members, and reconcile travel and business expenses monthly.
- Coordinate logistics and operations for conferences and events including vendor management, scheduling, on-site support, hotel room blocks, dinner reservations, and transportation.
- Regular commute to a local office is required (up to three days each week) to support essential physical operations. This includes maintaining swag inventory, collecting mail, and packing and preparing shipments.
- Limited travel is required, including for onboarding, professional development, and team events.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years operations experience in a startup environment
- Highly organized - you are obsessed with creating order and consistency
- Detail oriented - you can catch the small stuff and read the fine print
- Physical capacity to safely move, lift, and handle inventory and shipping packages weighing up to 30+ pounds
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle for local business use (mileage and business travel will be fully reimbursed in accordance with California Labor Code ยง 2802)
- Skilled in writing clearly and succinctly
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a doer - this is an extremely hands-on role
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Skills & Experiences
- Active Notary Public designation (or willingness to obtain one, with company-covered application and bonding fees).
