Job description

Position Overview
The Training Camp Operations Intern will support the daily operations of Indy Ignite training camp, helping ensure athletes and staff have the apparel, meals, equipment, facilities, and resources needed for a successful camp.
  • Dates: Nov. 2-Dec. 18, 2026 (7 weeks)
  • Rate: $10/hour
  • Hours: 10-15 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
Apparel & Inventory
  • Conduct and maintain team apparel inventory.
  • Prepare individual player apparel packs.
  • Maintain inventory spreadsheets and organize extra/replacement apparel.

Food & Supplies
  • Place and confirm approved catering orders and assist with meal pickups.
  • Track meal timing around practices, lifts, meetings, and travel.
  • Restock and order approved team snacks, water, and daily supplies.

Practice & Team Operations
  • Assist with practice setup and breakdown, including shagging and organizing volleyballs.
  • Organize and store volleyballs, carts, and practice equipment.
  • Help maintain clean, organized locker room and team areas.
  • Assist with general daily operational needs.

Team Materials & Logistics
  • Assist with formatting and assembling 2027 team manuals and training camp materials.
  • Help organize rental vehicles for players and staff.
  • Communicate with venue staff regarding courts, practice times, meeting spaces, locker rooms, and other facility needs.

Qualifications
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
  • Previous sports, event, or operations experience is a plus.
