Job description

Tinker Federal Credit Union's Tri City branch has an immediate opening for a Branch Operations Assistant! We want you to work and grow at TFCU, so there will be many opportunities for professional development and growth through training and continued education. We value you at TFCU!
As a Branch Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Consistently providing an atmosphere of high-quality member service
  • Supporting credit union sales efforts and performing basic transactions for members with regard to products and services
  • Consulting with members and providing solutions to match their needs
  • Projecting a positive image as representative for the credit union in receiving visitors and guests
  • Completing various tasks within the branch including but not limited to; answering phones, processing mail, and working as a safe deposit representative
  • Ensuring all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential and ensuring established security procedures are followed

Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20.00 per hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Education/Experience:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority
  • TFCU University certification required and completed

  • Knowledge of TFCU products and services.
  • Knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and preferably experience with Microsoft Office.
